These images were created by merging two different negatives together in the dark room and exposing them both at the same time. This series studies the body language and the theme of 'Identity' bewteen a father and son over a game of chess.

I photographed these as part of a project during my Graphic Design degree course several years ago when I did a lot of abstract and conceptual photography. This project 'Objects Out of Context' was based on the concept of placing everyday objects in out of the ordinary places in order to make them appear more interesting as objects. I wanted to make the audience look at these objects in a different perspective, rather than just mundane everyday objects.
